406 EW10 Engine Temperature rises after about 120km of driving

2000 Peugeot 406 ew10
Car: Peugeot 406
Year: 2000
Variant: ew10
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
My 406 ew10 temperature rises after about 120 km of driving or about 1 hour of continuous driving. I have gone to the mechanic and they suspect a weak gasket, water pump problem or a weak fan.
I also get an air lock in the system occasionally and i have also bled the pipes on more than 3 occasions.
Anyone has a clue on this?
I have already changed the temp thermostat on the car.

If you 're losing water and getting air locks in the system then most likely it's the headgasket that has gone.
