You have to go in from the bottom and take off the undertray for the engine.
on ramps on the drive with all of the fiddling about and working with next to no clearance it took me around 2 hours to take off the trays reach in and pop the sensor out (be careful the retaining clips are plastic and usually quite brittle), pop the new one in and reverse the process.
Quite a B@11ache and could be better to get a garage with a set of ramps to do it for you (just not Peugeot$$$$$$$)

Thanks, Peugeot want £475 to do it so I’m looking to diy for this.
I think I can access it through the fog lamp grill but not sure so seeking guidance before I try

Think it depends on what sensor if you can access through the fog lamp

Check this
" They actually pop-in from the back. There are two in the fog light units which can just be reached from under the bonnet, I have replaced one myself but it's a bit fiddly. I believe the whole fog light surround can be popped out but not sure about that. "

Thanks , I have replaced a damaged fog light surround in the past (pheasant strike) and think I could be from that. Cheaper than £475 anyway, Even if I damage the fog light grill in trying.
