2018 Peugeot 3008 unable to connect phone by bluetooth

Had my Peugeot 3008 nav unit updated to the most recent map & firmware few days later the system crashed. My phone unable to discover the car while pairing . Tried everything I could possibly reset to a point I have to factory reset the unit.. Tired of trying I so I took the care to the garage since the warranty is still running. Without diagnostics the lady at the dest said it was update problem and that I’ll have to pay £144 and so I gave her the go ahead but came to me after 2 hrs that she actually thought it was just the update but the receiver is actually faulty- problem with certain chip in the unit that’ll cost well over a thousand pounds.. Jeessss!! Lucky me the cars warranty still running so that’ll cover the cost..
