New battery change, wont start and states brake fault

2011 Peugeot 3008 1.8
Car: Peugeot 3008
Year: 2011
Variant: 1.8
but now indicating battery in red and brakes in red. States handbrake problem and won't start. Needs the computer to reset I think. Anyone know how to do that. This is a common issue as far as I have read elsewhere. Thanks

Disconnect battery again , wait for 5 mins and reconnect .Wait for 2 mins after connecting then try starting .

Thank you, but I have tried too many times now. The electric handbrake had gone to manual and won't go auto. I think the computer needs to be reset, so calling the experts on Monday. Thank you anyway.

Well, after what I would say was a lot of off-the-cuff advice and the loss of £200 in mechanics, I found it to be a loose connection. So much for breakdown services that wanted me to get it towed to a dealer. Good old-fashioned playing around with all the nuts done the trick. Best to methodically check everything before you call in a mechanic.
