Auto gearbox

When selecting Manuel, auto, or reverse, it shows, Place in neutral. After a few times trying to get a gear it selects and drives with no problem. Had a new clutch and flywheel a few thousand ago. Any ideas please.

Could possibly be an adjustment needed but you really need to get it checked with suitable diagnostic scanner and see what fault codes are showing .
