2011 Peugeot 3008 burning smell whilst driving

When driving after a while there was a smell of burning in the car but no other problems with it...when I pulled on the drive there was a small trickle of water?? coming from the front middle underneath.

Check coolant / radiator level when engine cold .If ok and car has air con , the water you seen may just be coming from air con drain which is normal .If car is diesel , as suggested earlier ,probably particlulate filter regenerating which is at a very hot temp and again normal .If in doubt , get it verified by garage .
