Master cylinder on clutch went about 2.5 years ago, 2 months later the clutch went, 2 months later the gear box went so was advised to put in another new clutch, which I did. This week the clutch was an issue again. They replaced the slave but there is still a hydraulic issue so the master cylinder needs replacing. Its probably only been about 15000 miles in the 2.5 years, I mainly do long trips and I'm a good driver. Surely a car shouldn't have this many clutch issues? The car is 2011 plate which I've had 7 years and the car has done 83000. This car has been a nightmare and has cost a fortune. Even the power steering went but noticed many cars (not mine) were recalled for the fault so I contacted Peugeot who did mend it for free. Is this just bad luck with the timing, are all 207's like this or just a bad car? Surely no car should have this many clutch issues and so close together? My last car was a 206 which I had 10 years (was about 14) and never had any issues with clutches or any other big jobs?

Like you say you should not be having all these clutch / gearbox faults , certainly not after having it replaced 2 months prior should it need replacing again . But there are a lot of complaints about clutch failures , here is an example
