Instrument cluster not always working working. Flickering needles.

2007 Peugeot 207 1.6 vti Petrol
Car: Peugeot 207
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.6 vti Petrol
The instrument cluster (tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, indicator lights) intermittently stops working.
A clicking sound is heard and instrument needles jump around. Often when the car is turned off. Usually happens when the car is turned on. Sometimes when it is working fine, and driving, the needles will just drop as in no power.
All fuses have been pulled, cleaned and checked.
There has been mention of checking for a faulty relay which is what I suspect the problem is, but I cannot work out where the relays are in this car ?
Everything else works fine.
Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks
