'battery charge or electrical supply faulty'

2010 Peugeot 207
Car: Peugeot 207

After driving for approx half a mile i get a warning light 'battery charge or electrical supply faulty'. The car runs fine but occasionally i get a very slight judder then its running fine again. Starts ok. Garage unable to find a fault with the battery. Have been running it round town but not confident to take on a long journey. Any ideas what this could be?

Getting the battery and alternator LOAD tested would be where I started off checking for fault .
