First thing to check is the signal from the Crank angle sensor,
Easy done with a scan tool set to read RPM's.
No Rpm's means no spark so no injector signal.

Thanks for your reply.
The crank sensor seems ok.
Occassionally when cranking to start, the eco light comes on and fuel guage flickers.
Sending BSI for testing

What is your fuel gauge reading?
Answered Feb 25, 2017 (7 years ago)
The guage reads 1/4 full and is normally accurate.
When key is on second position, the guage flickers and drops to zero but returns to normal on release of ignition key.
Answered Feb 26, 2017 (7 years ago)
just to discount a faulty fuel gauge I would put a couple of cans of fuel in

Thanks, we have already done this
Answered Feb 26, 2017 (7 years ago)
if you leave the key in the ignition and open the door do you get a beeping noise?
Answered Feb 28, 2017 (7 years ago)
Ssorry for delay in replying.
Currently ecu and bsi units have been tested, both ok.
Since refitting, engine fired up but the 12v feed to thec coils is intermittant.
I believe there was a recall on the fuse box and wiring loom at sometime!
Crank sensor appears to be ok

My Peugeot 207, it started with some noise in the engine and than we tested a compression and it was way low. Oh, one night before we remove a cylinder head the engine fan went on by itself until morning time. i removed the positive line from battery and after phew minutes i put it back on and the fan went on again, and I removed it. Now I took my cylinder head to be worked on, and it was putted back on and when we want to start the car the, I could turn the key on but to start the engine no respond. Please help ASAP Please...

Sincerely

Thanks for all replies.
Gave up after spending £400 on testing ecu , bsi, fuse box etc.
Sold car as spares /repairs at substantial loss as I could not justify further cost
Problem with wiring is apparently very common on Peugeots.
