Dashboard brightness

2007 Peugeot 207
Car: Peugeot 207
Year: 2007
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Since getting my car back from its MOT and service last week (it passed both without any work needed) each time I turn the headlights on the dashboard lights seem more muted and the menu lights (clock, date etc) dim. Can I increase the brightness or do you think this is a sympton of a bigger problem?
Thank you

Is there not a dimmer switch / knob on the dashboard controls.. Or maybe it is in the menu settings...

On our peugeot vans there is a roller switch to adjust the brightness of the dials. On the drivers side of the dash next to the headlight level adjustment. Your pug could be the same

I had the same problem this morning and rectified it like this; in between the speedo and the rev counter there are two stalks that stick out one is to reset the trip counter and the other adjusts the brightness of the panel lights. just press and hold but it is better to adjust when dark. Good luck.
