The external temperature indicator

the indicator varies wildly from about -18 degrees to about 24/25 degrees. when in minus the "risk of ice" indicator comes on

The outside temperature sensor is usually at the bottom of the o/s wing mirror .Check it's clean , but may need replacing as they often go faulty with water intrusion .

Thank you. I’ll check that out. I couldn’t find any reference in the manual
