When driving and accelerating there is a frequent loud beeping with no warning lights showing. Very distracting

This can be a common problem on the Peugeot 107 with the Multi Mode Transmission and is often due to clutch wear / slip especially worse when accelerating hard .

Thank you. Only 25k mileage. Would the clutch need repairing?
Answered Mar 2, 2021 (3 years ago)
Unfortunately It may well need clutch repair but a road test by a competent mechanic should confirm or not . There have been many cars with even a lower mileage that have this fault .This is from elsewhere ,

" Not only is this a common problem for the Peugeot 107 but they seem to want an excessive amount to solve the problem that they know is down to the design of the car. The problem that will be recurring every 10-20k cycle. These cars are suppose to be urban friendly and save you money. "
