2010 Peugeot 107 engine/cad shakes above 50 under accelerating?

I can drive round town up to 50mph with no problem but on motorways upwards of 50mph the car shakes when I accelerate even if I drop to 3rd gear - what seems to be wrong?

Before getting involved with mechanical issues , spin each wheel and check for bulges , twists in tyres .Check for abnormal wear and if still o.k get wheel balance checked . Could even be as simple as a shed balance weight .

check all wheels and tyres for damage also check for worn steering suspension joints and check drive shafts
