2008 Peugeot 107 water leaking in

water has started leaking in through the back window on my wifes 107. the leak was spotted very quick luckely so no harm done. i have tried to see where the water is comming in from with no success. i have removed th back light & re sealed it also the high level brake light. i have sealed the hole where the hinge bolts go through. i have removed the seal that the glass closes onto ,cleaned it & refitted it the rubber seal looked perfect pulling my hair out now . has anybody had the same issue any help would be very apprecisted thanks jonno

Hi Jonno, you seemed to have covered the usual trouble areas. If you can, get in the boot area with a good torch and have someone spray a hope pipe or use a watering can around the rear area. Make sure you cover the area bit by bit (do each light at a time etc) and hopefully you can spot the exact point of the leak

You could powder around the possible area with talcum powder and hopefully you would see a trail where the water is entering.

As per bustedk I would rub Chalk on all the possible surfaces where the water would be getting in. Then either run water over the Car or after a Shower it should be possible to see where the problem is as the Chalk mark will be missing or changed. Best of luck with it.

remove your rear bumper and reseal the two oblong air vents!

Did you resolve this issue? I have done exactly the same thing - resealed all these areas and no luck. Did you find any other places that needed resealing?
