0000 Peugeot 107 continuous beeping on acceleration

On acceleration primarily on longer journeys car will suddenly start beeping (noise coming from dashboard). Take your foot off the throttle and it stops, put throttle on again and it starts again and won't stop until you take the throttle off. Any ideas!

First thing to check would be the automatic gear box fluid level. Top up as necessary with the correct grade of fluid...
