1998 Peugeot 106 engine keeps cutting out

The car cuts out when I slow down. I go to stop and the rev cutting drops and the car cuts out. I can then start it again, but have to rev the engine to get it going and sometimes it cuts out again straight after starting it. This is not a consitent problem, sometimes it seems to work fine and other times cuts out, however it now seems to be happening more frequently. Any help on what the prblem might be would be appreciated?

get hold of some carb and injection cleaner aerosol form and follow the instructions on the tin and this will remove all debri choking up the sensors causing it to cut out

hi , me too have this problem . the engine just cut out when stopping. how about you ? problem solved ?
