1995 Peugeot 106 cnt get in the car

hi, my batterys been flat for a couple of weeks now and now when i press the button on my car key it wont open the doors. i have an immobiliser in the car.
Is this because the battery is flat that it wont work or is there another reason.

sorry but im not allowed to give this sort of info out on how to get in to a locked car as its against the rules of autoinsider so all that i can suggest is are you in the AA/RAC as these will be able to get in to you car for you with out damaging your car and that is the only info im allowed to give sorry rules are rules
