2000 Peugeot 106 engine cutting out

I have a pug 106 and today at a roundabout it decided to loose power and cut out, I checked my petrol have 1/2 a tank. Battery is fine and spark plugs have been changed. After sitting still managed to fire my car up and drive home, as i pulled up to my house my car decided to die again. Please help as i love my little pug and the hubby wants to get rid of it

Could be something simple like Idle Air Control Valve .
