WHEN DRIVING THERES A WHIRRING NOISE COMING FROM THE GEARBOX. IT STOPS WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS PRESSED IN. WHAT COULD BE WRONG AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO REPAIR?

does the noise change when clutch pedel is depressed ? this will tell weather its clutch bearing or gearbox
