Anti pollution filter

engine warning light on. followed by anti polution filter faulty. handbook says if 'check ok' comes on then it is a minor defect. 3 month ago had a hose blow this gave a warning of pollution filter blocked.
Peugeot want to charge for putting the car on dianosis machine without any idea of cost. any help would be great.

basic garage cost are around 45 pounds a hour but im sure they can help regards a quote up front surely
