2007 Peugeot 1007 clunk sound left front

Clunk sound left front garage said possibly top shock but could not be sure as rusty! Suggested I go peugeot garage - any ideas? No pulling and drives well but doors also sound creaky and tinny - maybe it's just an age thing?

Shouldn't need to go to a Peugeot garage , any decent independent garage should be able to find cause . Many possible causes but impossible to say without getting steering , suspension checked out . Likewise with doors
