2006 Peugeot 1007 squealing from under bonnet intermittent start goes through the gears but does not move, also smells of burning rubber

Had someone run into the back of me, big hole in bumper, after a day or so noise from bonnet got worse then car wouldn't move but gear change was showing. Then car would not start and smell of burning rubber and heat.

Need to get it checked out to see if damage at rear is anyway connected to your problems . Squealing noise and burning smell sounds like a belt slipping
