Clunk from front suspension.

Hi,

My PUG 1007 has developed a clunk on the drivers side front when touching down from bumps or speed humps.

My mechanic has been over it with a fine tooth comb and cannot see anything worn or loose so as a last resort we agreed he changed the front shocks.

This did not cure the clunk.
The car does not pull, wander or exhibit any handling problems at all.
I can feel the clunk when it happens.

Would anyone have the slightest idea where to go from here?

I'm thinking it's a bush failing but my guy cannot see anything worn.

HELP!

Common failure on most newer cars are the front antiroll bar droplinks, they will be only work at a certain point, angle so jacking the car up will change the angle and they're won't be any play found, but they are really cheap , they don't usually clunk enough to feel it tho, top mounts would but I assume they would have been checked when the shocks were changed,
