How do you remove the steering wheel?

2003 Peugeot 1007 807 Executive Manual 2.2 HDi

Hi, as per the title. On the back of the steering wheel there are two holes with clips in them. Are they anything to do with the removal of the horn push and airbag assembly. I need to remove the steering wheel to remove the indicator switch assembly.
My thanks in anticipation of your replies!

Yes but I couldn't even begin to explain in text how to do it,of course it helps if you've seen inside one before.
the air bag removal tools go in the little holes and engage with a wire retaining clip on the base of the air bag,
that's the best I can do to explain

is it an 807 0r 1007? if a 1007 just insert a smallish screw driver and push against the clips...if its an 807 you have to push down to unhook them
