The reversing lights do not work. I have tested the bulbs which are OK. With both bulbs out there is 12v at each bulb holder with the ignition on and in reverse but when I replace either one of the bulbs, the voltage disappears. CAN THIS BE A WIRING OR SWITCH FAULT. I am stumped.

Rather strange , easiest way to test/ eliminate switch is to bridge wiring .
