Symbol of an engining that is not switching off. This first showed when the vehicle was due for service. But even after service the light is still showing up. Not sure if the engine has a problem?

Unbelievable if a garage serviced your car with the engine warning light on and never scanned if for faults and then reset it before giving it back .
