2006 Nissan Serena ignition switch

Defrosting my car this morning started no problem turned off for 2 mins went to start again and saying no key detected and ignition stuck in lock even tried physical key with no joy also remote lock and open from fob not working new battery in fob for about a month.

Cheers for replying have figured out it's the Fob and key that was in there got the spare key that seems never to have been used and it started mechanically no probs thanks

Strange from what you describe and with new fob battery fitted also but solved the fault which is what counts . Thank you for updating the forum
