Fit a new stereo system but when it powers up I get an engine problem where it won’t Rev above 2000 rpm and loose dash and auto warnings

When the new stereo is connected engine won’t Rev over 2000 rpm, also auto gearbox indicator on dash goes off and no reverse. When I disconnect the new stereo all system ok.

Better recheck your your wiring and fitting / suitability of the unit . Appears to be overloading and playing havoc with the electrics
