2001 Nissan S-Cargo front bumper faded

I have recently bought a 2001 Nissan Vanette Cargo Van. The Front Bumper - which is plastic and unpainted - has faded to a dull patchy Grey. Has anyone any ideas how I could revive it to the Black Colour it would have had originally without painting it,

When you say Silicone are you talking about a special Silicone or just the basic Tube of Clear Silicone that I can buy in a DIY shop?.
I presume you just give it a quick wipe with the moist Silicone and do not let any residue remain;
