Nissan Juke door ajar light stays on.

Cleaned all 4 door switches and connections and cleaned boot catch mechanism but light still stays on. Could it just be a faulty door switch or something else?

On most cars nowadays there is a micro switch in the lock assembly that operates the light andfd sometimes can be freed when sticking by spaying inside with WD 40 ,Also check wiring where it passes into door from pillar for damage
