1998 Nissan Elgrand altonator belt snapped

It wouldn’t start at all then my friend jump started it and then the car dies completely which caused the belt to snap off, got the car of my brother in law

If you jump start the car with a dead battery and pull the jump leads off too quickly before there is enough in battery this will cause the car to die . You need to get the battery charged , then tested and replaced if any weak / dud cells . Also alternator charging rate needs testing also .
