My gearbox indicator goes off in the cluster

My gearbox indicator goes off in the box. No sign of D in it. Vehicle starts to drag when i stop and run on low gear. Feeling heavy. Whats the issue? I have changed 2 gearbox and used new atf for both Gearbox replacement.after vehicle stalled for 2-3 hours, everything is ok. I cant drive for hours. Later i have this same issue.

May be the gearbox shift cable .
