1999 Nissan Elgrand does not start

hello I have an E50 eagle since 1999 but I do not start putting the key in contact it lights up but when I turn on the key there's nothing going to happen if anybody knows what might be cause

Could be voltage drop,
Clean the battery terminals/clamps until clean bright metal shows.
And check for terminal security,
It shouldn't be possible to "twist" the terminal when they're tight.
Japanese cars seem to have terminals that just do not fully tighten when they get old.

Try jump start , if automatic , try moving gear shift from P to N

sounds like a knackered starter motor
