Water Guage Warning Light

Water Gauge Warning Light won't extinguish - water levels in Rad and expansion are ok. Fault occurred two weeks ago and then went after a day or two - just come back. Temperature is ok, car runs ok.

you need to check the coolant is circulating round the cooling system and that the heater is getting hot,check the thermostat is opening at right temp and that water pump is circulating the coolant through the hoses and radiator and that the cooling fan is licking in,make sure you havent got an air lock in the system,if this is all ok you could just have a faulty coolant temp sensor
