Lacking power

2003 Mitsubishi Shogun 2.5 td
Car: Mitsubishi Shogun
Year: 2003
Variant: 2.5 td
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
engine management light on 70% of the time, still sluggish when light is off, keep revs up its better but still feels like i am strangling it even then.
low revs ?,,(nothing),light not on after restarting engine most times, but problem still exists.
had diognostic check done and was told could be one of two turbo switches, each one costing about £160,could cost £400 with labour.
looked up turbo switches and found nothing.
i have tried injector cleaner and feels 5-10% better at higher rev range only.
help

they could mean the vaccume switching valves for the turbo waste gate if so id check the electrical plugs to them as they can corroide.
also clean out all air trunking as oil deposits can cause issues.do you know the dtc code ?

thanks mr suzuki,i am a little mechanically minded, but dont know where things are unless i have a manual,of which i dont.
can you tell me where the vacuum switch is for the turbo waste gate, and are there two of them(switches) as the mechanic that quoted me,said there was. and no i dont have the code.
