Cold starting system not powering glow plugs

when ignition turned on glow plug warming light comes on (dashboard). But no power is detected on glow plugs. this makes cold starting impossible.

there is usualy a glowplug relay fitted to operate the glowplugs, you need to locate this relay & check for a feed in & out of it.also check the earth for it.if feeds are ok use a multi-meter & continuity from the relay to the glow plugs,check the earth on the glow plugs,hope this is of some help

there is a glow relay and a glow solenoid just by the ns strut top mount check the electrical route .also check it hasnt got an imobilisor as it may cut cold start devices
