2005 Mitsubishi Shogun stuck in 3rd gear auto box try n put it in tiptronic only selects 3rd

I have bought i shogun automatic and it takes off slow and sometimes stalls , goes through 1st second and 3rd once it gets to 4th it’s slips back down to 3rd and then sticks in third gear can someone help please the N light is flashing too

You need to get it scanned for transmission fault codes . Never advisable to buy a car of that year with transmission problems
