Hi got an 06 pajero 2.8, when driving up to 3000 rpm eml comes on and saftey mode, looses power,when you take your foot off light goes out until 3k then same thing happens. There is no smoke. Ive had pump recon"d still same thing. Help pls

You will need to get it scanned and see what fault codes show .

We read codes and comes up code 49 over boost

Dont really know much about that car , but a friend has suggested this can be caused by a faulty wastegate actuator .
