2006 Mitsubishi Pajero thump from gearbox when slowing

There is a thump and loud hum from gearbox when slowing to park or for traffic light.
This happens only once or twice in a day.
Only when auto box is changing to 1st gear at very slow speed.
Mitsubishi agent says all ok, but have doubts.
Any suggestions welcome.

Take it to another dealer for a second opinion if you doubt the findings .
