Was this apparent before the oil and fuel filter change and is your vehicle diesel or petrol?
Answered Feb 17, 2009 (15 years ago)
this was happening before the oil and fuel change have been told by gararge may be injectors but this could be expensive oh by the way it is a deisel

Take the outlet pipe off the turbocharger, the one between the turbo and intercooler and check for abnormal oil deposits. This may indicate a worn turbo and also check for any restrictions in the air intake ie. condition of air cleaner element. Does the engine make a crackling noise when you rev above idle.If yes check the cold run port between the exhaust and inlet manifolds.

hi the garage has checked the turbo charger and he says it is ok not sticking i have asked the guy that delivers my parcels and he thinks it could be 1 of 3 things the diesel pump needs calabrating as it is letting in too much deisel through when at idle speed or turbo not spinning on tickover or E.C.R valve sticking on the top of exhaust
