2009 Mitsubishi Pajero gear transmission problem

During driving on D drive the gear is change automatically to N drive and the car become in neutral with N & D are on together and to return the car back to drive I have to put the transmission to the N then back to D.
Pleas Advise.

Get transmission scanned .Could be soft ware update available .

This happened to me. I adjusted a linkage arm coming from the gear stick, on the side of the gearbox and it seemed to solve my problem
