Gear "parking"

Hi, i couldn't shift the gear knob to parking.It drives fine and no issues.While driving in auto,i accidentally push the gear to manual.After some few weird noises,i couldn't park anymore.I could push the gear knob to reverse,neutral and drive without issue.It feels like it's on some kind of mechanism lock.Please advise , what to do.

Sounds like you may have damaged the park mechanism .Not sure the set up on that car but it's usually a pawl that locks , you may have to get it checked out to be safe and avoid further damage .
