hi all please help!!

I have a 2001 shogun newer shape its a 2.5 did import,

i put my 4x4 in 4wd the other nite as i was using a trailer for first time, and was impressed although now when i select 2h it stays in 4wd and when i turn the ignition off and on the lights on the dash the front green lights flash and then go to four when i move off.

even though the lever moves ok!

i searched this site although the info was for if the lever doesnt move mine moves ok!

but stays in 4wd im scared to drive it as can feel it binding! when turning slowly and when i reverse..

Maybe something's come off the lever and the box is still in 4 wheel and moving the levers doing nothing.
