THIS IS A2.8 DIESEL AUTOMATIC WHICH RUNS AND DRIVES BRILLIANTLY EXCEPT FOR THIS ANNOYING PROBLEM.IT WILL START IMMEDIATELY FIRST START OF THE DAY.IT WILL IDLE FOR 5 OR 10 MINUTES OR YOU CAN DRIVE OFF IMMEDIATELY THEN AFTER AN IRREGULAR AMOUNT OF TIME/DISTANCE IT WILL CUT OUT.THEN IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO START BUT ONCE STARTED IT WILL START AND RUN THE REST OF THE DAY .SAME PROBLEM NEXT MORNING.ITS DRIVING ME NUTS I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP.CHEERS A.G.

Your injector pump seal is worn, remove the fuel filter and you will find the diesel has discoloured or turning black. most competant garages will do the job but make sure they have the correct seal for it as its a special seal, check ebay injector pump seals, the job should cost you no more than £200
