Dash lights on , batteries going flat

dash lights on, batteries checked ok. new alternator fitted. ok for 3weeks, same prob, replacement alternator fitted, 2weeks same problem. had to jump start to garage and they are stuck. bafelled even where in the sticks and need help. It was giving 14v or there about but now dropped to 12 or less

Fistly check the battery by discharge test and by electronic tester if okay then carry out a volt drop test on the system with battery in the vehicle to see if anythings draining it.also check main engine earth points and battery to chasis earths.

two batterys fitted, make sure they are dis connected before any test is done on them, otherwise results will be wrong, make sure all the main power fuses are ok, even the ones on the positive terminal, make sure a good alternator brand is fitted
