1993 Mitsubishi Pajero chain noise

While driving I have recently heard a noise as if I'm dragging a chain. Should I be worried?????

Need more info, can you hear this noise while the vehicle is stood still or just while driving. i have had many problems with rear axle pinion bearing failing on these

Had a similar noise problem on my '96 Pajero. Changed the rear Prop-shaft universal joint,seems fine now !!!
