1999 Mitsubishi FTO gearbox

put car into drive, it waits then after about 5 sec it jumps into gear, when driving at constant speed car keeps lunging drive hard its ok on tick over engine light comes on, once you touch throtle it goes off, help its doing my nut in lol.

Could check / change ATF and filter .If that doesn't cure fault , get it scanned and see what shows.

if the fluid is ok then you may have a gearbox or software fault,best to get it looked at by by autobox specialist,they should be able to do tests to determine what the cause is

thanks lads have changed oil and filter still no good now have it booked into mitsubishi tuesday

went to mitsi they said it could be the throttle position sensor will give it a go and let you know if it works
