1995 Mitsubishi FTO noisy relay when engine switched off

car runs great until i turn the engine off then there is a buzzing from the relay that is in the centre console behind the radio which i think is related to the fuel pump , but changing the relay does not solve the problem anybody any ideas if it is the relay or fuel pump problem or bad earth cheers
