1995 Mitsubishi FTO gear box

You really need to get it scanned and see what faults show .I.e , the manual says "the transmission is locked into 3rd gear as a failsafe measure and the N range lamp flashes". Probable cause - Malfunction of the:- input shaft speed sensor. :- output shaft speed sensor. etc. .

HAVE YOU FIXED THE PROBLEM YET IF YOU HAVE WHAT WAS IT

get the chip checked that turns the car from kph to mph you have a loose wire it should be at the back of the engine under the throttle cable. i had the same problem

i have got an fto GR auto. am having problem with the gear box electronics. keeps going blank on the dash and making clicking noises then when i flick the indicator on it stops/goes back to normal then happens again. what should i do?

i have the same sort of problem with my fto its a 195 gr version was driving home from work and the auto gearbox was stuck in 3rd gear it wont go into reverse at all and as soon as you move to drive or reverse from park it really clonks back and the whole engine moves do you know if this sounds the same and did you manage to fix this problem or are they not worth doing ive hd the car only a month dont really want to give up on it just yet
